In the camps, i always assumed the dead were burned in regular crematoriums, but i can see it being a challenge to honor each person with a proper service and cremation during war time. So maybe those ovens were inside the camps. There is so much propaganda surrounding this it’s hard to tell. But logic says they would have expected some to die from disease, starvation etc., and ovens would have to be brought in from outside sources. But what do you do with the dead? For health and sanitation reasons you cremate them or you bury them in mass graves. Which sounds pretty sinister unless you think well, there was a war going on all around us we couldn’t exactly stand and dig a grave for each and every person. Kiss their bible and throw in a handful of dirt. Another myth is that everyone in the camps was treated horribly and were abused and mistreated. I wasn’t there. But what i saw in the pics from WW2, which i grew up on…were emaciated people staring at the supposed liberators who came in to save the day at the last possible minute.
