This is not democracy. This is not anything to be patriotic about, yet most people would call me out for writing it all down. Truth requires a tough resolve and 100% honest accurate information. Nothing to hide. If you commit a crime you pay for it, not omit – redact or retract – the truth from public record. That should go for anyone. THAT is democracy.

Democracy. He even supported it as a cause, and/or solution for the republic. But it killed him, because he only died due to the popular vote. It had nothing to do with actual guilt one way or the other. The people were basically annoyed with him, so they voted him to death. The only difference was he opted for suicide, by drinking Hemlock. Today we could say we are being pressured into a suicide; of our morals, integrity, couth…honor.
